The Products will float on water and only absorb the oil. Chemical Absorbents are colour coded yellow for safety and as a warning colour to make it easier to recognize that hazardous substances are being absorbed. Plant Nappy Plant Nappy is a product developed to prevent soil contamination from small plant equipment leaking fuel and oil.Designed to withstand all weather conditions and is rugged enough to stand plant on all year round. Three sizes are available and these suit most common sizes of small generators, water pumps and machinery. The side wall is permeable with a filter fabric that allows free passage of water but not oil. The product only discharges clean water yet absorbs any leaking oils etc.
Waste Disposal Bags Disposal bag and ties are the ideal way of containing used absorbents. The bags are manufactured from hard wearing polyethylene in a highly visible yellow. Please dispose of all waste in the correct manner absorbents saturated with oils or hydrocarbons must be disposed of through Special Waste Disposal and absorbents saturated with aggressive chemicals must be disposed of through Hazardous Waste Disposal.
